An Artificial Intelligence centre is to be established in\nthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A royal decree, announced by Abdullah Al-Sawaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, will establish the centre that will continue the Kingdom\u2019s drive towards Digital Transformation and technological innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The centre will be named The National Centre for Artificial\nIntelligence, while a new organisation called the National Data Management\nOffice will also be formed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both organisations will be linked with the Saudi Commission\nfor Data and Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al-Sawaha said the centre was a sign of the Kingdom\u2019s intention\nto make technological progress based on Artificial Intelligence to increase\nproductivity and provide innovative services to the Kingdom\u2019s citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The centre is also expected to help decision-making\nprocesses across all verticals and open new horizons to encourage\nentrepreneurship and support young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, has issued\nthe royal decree to establish the centre which will have a board of directors\nunder the chairmanship of the Deputy Premier. Its members will be appointed by\nthe Prime Minister.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
