Huawei International\nand the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in KSA have announced\nthe recent winners of the Saudi Arabia edition of the Huawei Middle East ICT\nCompetition 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition\naims to nurture local talent in the ICT field with a vision to sharpen their\nICT skills and prepare them for the future of technology in line with the\nvisions and goals of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology\nin relation to human capital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Six finalists were chosen from a field of 20\nstudents, who competed following the preliminary round involving entries from several\nuniversities across the country. The top winners will be invited back to China\nto take part in the final round of the competition against the finalists from\nthe other Middle Eastern countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year marked the third edition of the ICT Competition in KSA, with more than 3,500 student\nregistrations \u2013 double those received in the previous editions. At the Huawei\nMiddle East ICT Competition 2018, a team from KSA won third place in the final\nround of the competition in China. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition promotes innovation and creativity while serving as\na bridge between the classroom and the workplace. By nurturing university\nstudents\u2019 talent in KSA, it also contributes to increasing national ICT\ncompetitiveness while supporting the country\u2019s digital development strategy and\nits contributions to the overall national income. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
