Alaris INfuse Smart Connected Scanning\nSolution hailed as a \u2018groundbreaking\u2019 solution by Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab (BLI)<\/em>, the world\u2019s leading\nindependent evaluator of document imaging software, hardware and services, has recognised\nthe Alaris INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution with its Outstanding Achievement in Innovation Award\nin the Document Imaging Software category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The honour acknowledges products or\ncapabilities that stand out for a particular innovation that moves the product\ncategory forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCapture and workflow solutions are nothing new. But delivering a\ntruly customised, automated solution typically entails server- and\nworkstation-based software at the client site, training of end-users on how to\nuse the solution, and hours of on-site set-up and on-going maintenance for the\nintegrator placing the system. \u201cThe INfuse Smart Connected\nScanning Solution<\/a> lets Alaris partners deploy turnkey business\nprocess solutions to their customers that turn complex tasks into, essentially,\na press of a button on the INfuse AX scanner. And even the scanner set-up is\nautomated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create this unique solution, Alaris\ncombined several key technologies into a groundbreaking distributed scanning\necosystem. At the customer site (or sites), INfuse AX Scanners are the\ntouchpoint for end-users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These smart network scanners require no\nPC or software\/drivers, and securely transfer data, metadata and finished image\nfiles directly into a cloud-based business process created and hosted by the\nAlaris channel partner or solution provider (typically an ISV or integrator). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scanner employs Alaris\u2019 exclusive\nEasySetup technology, so configuring device settings is as easy as scanning in\na cover sheet. The system also includes INfuse Management Software, which\nprovides Alaris partners with easy end-user set-up, remote configuration and\nfleet management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
