A landmark cybersecurity event has taken place in Saudi\nArabia. The Global Cybersecurity Forum launched powerful initiatives to protect\nchildren and empower women in the arena of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two-day forum was organised by the National\nCybersecurity Authority in the Kingdom and attracted 3,500 participants,\nincluding policymakers and executives from global tech companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum concluded its\nactivities by issuing the Riyadh Cybersecurity Statement. This urged all\nstakeholders to support several recommendations aimed at making a combined\neffort to create a safer cyberspace for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Cyber Security Authority also signed MoUs with\nthe NEOM company, global safety science company UL, as well as the King\nAbdullah University of Science and Technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MoUs were signed to create\nstrategic partnerships leading to co-operation, raise the level of research and\ndevelopment and build more secure cybersecurity systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, one of the event\u2019s main aims was to shape the\nconversation on cybersecurity and create the foundations for greater cyber-resilience,\ncapacity and management of the threat landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum highlighted and enabled discussions on investment\nand economic opportunities created within the cybersecurity industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
