{"id":45543,"date":"2020-02-12T10:31:32","date_gmt":"2020-02-12T10:31:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/me\/?p=45543"},"modified":"2023-10-02T09:48:33","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T08:48:33","slug":"zain-group-signs-mou-with-commercial-bank-of-kuwait-to-provide-data-centre-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/me\/2020\/02\/12\/zain-group-signs-mou-with-commercial-bank-of-kuwait-to-provide-data-centre-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Zain Group signs MoU with Kuwaiti bank to provide data centre services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em> Kuwait based telecommunications company Zain Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commercial Bank of Kuwait to provide cloud solutions and data centre services <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuwait based telecommunications company Zain Group has signed\na Memorandum of Understanding with the Commercial Bank of Kuwait to provide\ncloud solutions and data centre services to aid the bank\u2019s Digital\nTransformation journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The telecom company said that it will provide, under the MoU,\na set of the latest innovative cloud solutions to enhance the digital\ninfrastructure of Commercial Bank, which includes the services of Zain Business\nCentre for data hosting, such as the bank data storage service, and the\nprovision of information protection and communications services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MoU will include providing services for managing and\norganising cables and protecting data and information through a secure\ninfrastructure consisting of a set of equipment, technologies and security\nmeasures for control and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe MoU that we signed with Commercial Bank represents\nanother step for us in our continuous co-operation with the corporate sector,\nthrough which we will establish common foundations to explore new horizons in\nthe areas of smart solutions and digital innovation,\u201d said Vice Chairman and\nChief Executive Officer of Zain Group, Nasser Al-Kharafi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThrough this agreement, Zain will provide technical support\nand the latest digital solutions, to assist Commercial Bank in employing modern\ntechnologies that serve its strategy towards Digital Transformation, as the\ncompany will volunteer its technological capabilities to enhance the efforts of\nCommercial Bank management in building an integrated digital infrastructure to\nkeep pace with developments that the banking industry is witnessing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the presence of the signing was Chairman of the Board of\nDirectors of the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Duaij Jaber Al-Sabah;\nthe Vice Chairman and CEO of the Zain Group, Badr Nasser Al-Kharafi;
