Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) announced its financial results for\nthe year 2019 with it achieving a net profit of QR3.05 billion, representing a\ngrowth of 10.9% for the same period in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, total assets of the bank have increased by\n6.7% compared to December 2018 and now stand at QR163.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
QIB has\nembarked on Digital Transformation to face banking trends that are changing to\nmeet the customer\u2019s evolving digital expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
QIB\u2019s\nstrategy is closely tied with Qatar\u2019s National Vision (QNV) 2030 and the\ngovernment\u2019s commitment to investment in the country\u2019s infrastructure, the\ndiversification of the economy and the development of a strong private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bank\u2019s\ngrowth strategy is built on its position as a leading Islamic Bank covering all\nsegments of the financial markets. It has financed major developmental projects\nin different fields which include infrastructure, oil and gas, construction\nprojects, and other sectors in alignment with the QNV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
