A Middle East telecommunications event has been postponed\ndue to fears over Coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Capacity Middle East, which was due to commence on\nMarch 2 in Dubai, has been called off following a consultation with customers\nand partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe position has changed rapidly this week, as we are\nin a period of unprecedented volatility, and we are aware of the increasing\nconcerns related to travel safety that have emerged over the last 48 hours,\u201d\nsaid Ros Irving, CEO, Capacity Media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis decision has not been taken lightly but the health\nof our customers, partners and team is of paramount importance. We feel that as\nsuch an important event to the region, its postponement will allow the event to\nbetter serve its purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe sincerely appreciate all the work that our\ncustomers, partners and team have put into the planning of the event and we\nbelieve that a postponement offers the best option to deliver value and\ncertainty to our partners and customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will communicate shortly with further information\non new dates for the event, as well as what this means in terms of existing\nbookings for the event.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
