IFS<\/a>, the global enterprise applications company, has\nannounced that ARO\nDrilling<\/a>, a world-class offshore drilling contractor that\nowns, operates, and manages a fleet of high-specification and premium jack-up\nrigs in Saudi Arabia, has deployed IFS\nApplications<\/a> to unify mission-critical business processes across\nits headquarters and fleet of 16 offshore drilling rigs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A joint venture between Saudi\nAramco, the world\u2019s largest oil and gas company, and Valaris, an\nindustry-leading, global drilling contractor, ARO Drilling was looking to\nconsolidate its legacy business software, which was comprised of several disparate\nsystems that were complex and difficult to scale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a competitive bid process\ninvolving several major ERP vendors, the company chose IFS Applications based\non the platform\u2019s industry-specific functionality and fully integrated\narchitecture. The IFS solution was rolled out, on time and on budget in nine\nmonths, to some 400 full users and 2,000 self-service users across ARO\nDrilling\u2019s onshore and offshore operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IFS solution was deployed to\nsupport critical processes including maintenance, supply chain management,\nfinance and human capital management (HCM) – all fully integrated to the\ncompany\u2019s best-of-breed systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By running a fully integrated\nsolution the company has been able to gain a centralised view of the entire\nbusiness, driving quicker and better-informed decision-making. Leveraging IFS\u2019s\nbest-in-class project management and maintenance capabilities, ARO Drilling has\nbeen able to simplify its work processes, leading to increased efficiency and\nproject profitability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
