The Cybersecurity Centre at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in Qatar has launched a series of training programme courses at the Qatar Finance and Business Academy with the aim of preventing cybercrimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training courses aim to raise awareness of all state employees in the field of Information Technology and systems and raise the efficiency of information systems and security personnel in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nThe programme has been established by the Ministry of Interior in co-operation\nwith the Qatar Finance and Business Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nThe two-year programme attracts about 50,000 trainees from all government and\nsemi-government agencies in the country, through which employees are developed\nthrough a number of training stages, so the trainee moves from a specialist\nlevel to an expert level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nFirst Lieutenant Mohammed Yousef Kafood, the supervisor of the training\ncourses, said that these practical courses come within the context of\nactivating the practical side of the prevention of electronic crime training\nprogramme that the centre launched earlier, in co-operation with the Qatar\nFinance and Business Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe programme seeks to attract more than 50,000 trainees\nfrom three categories of employees affiliated with the various government and\nsemi-government agencies in the country, namely: the regular computer user,\ninformation systems employees and specialists who are employees in information\nsecurity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
