Huawei Levant has announced the appointment of Mutasem Shehadeh as its Vice president, confirming that the selection of Shehadeh for this important position came based on his wide experience and excellent management skills which he had acquired throughout his long career in this field.<\/p>\n
The announcement of Shehadeh’s new appointment came during a press conference which was held on Monday the 29th<\/sup> of February, 2016 in Intercontinental hotel -the “Burj Al-Hamam” Restaurant. During the press conference Shehadeh introduced himself and spoke about his career, past experiences, and previous positions he had held. He also highlighted the key plans and strategies, which he aspires to implement in 2016, most important of which is raising the market share of Huawei in Jordan from 15% to 25% by the end of this year.<\/p>\n Shehadeh explained: “Huawei is one of the most important smart phone companies in the world, distinguished among other companies by the fact that it is originally the number one global information and communications technology[H1] (ICT) solutions provider in the world, the thing which reflects on the quality and smart designs of its phones, that challenge the most important phone companies in the world.”<\/p>\n Regarding the competition that is taking place in the smart phone market in Jordan, and the Levant region, Shehadeh, said that Huawei will strongly Change this word please compete in these markets and will strongly prove itself, pointing out that smart devices are constantly evolving with the acceleration of technology, and the company continuously presents products which keep pace technological development.<\/p>\n Speaking about the Jordanian market, Shehadeh said the Jordanian telecommunications market is one of the most competitive Arab markets, where telecom companies provide better services in line with the acceleration in the world of technology. He pointed out that this has raised the level of competition between smart phone producers and strengthened their presence in the local market, which pushed “Huawei” to focus on the Jordanian market, through providing it with the latest technologies of the smart phone industry, and the most sophisticated and superior features in the local market. Huawei had also launched more than 15 smart phones, which meet all tastes and suit the various financial capabilities of the different segments of the Jordanian society.<\/p>\n Regarding the strategy of the company for this year, Shehadeh explained: “Huawei” has specified the size of investment which commensurate with the expansion to which it aspires and raises the level of high competition in the Kingdom of Jordan.
