A10 Networks<\/a>, a provider of\u00a0application networking and security, announced six new Thunder Series appliances, including the industry’s fastest single rack unit ADC<\/a>. The new fourth-generation offerings expand customer choice for entry-level, upper mid-range and high-end appliances. The company’s portfolio of appliances provides even greater price\/ performance, with scalability to 220 Gbps of traffic per second, 10.5 million connections per second, and defence for over 300 million DDoS<\/a> attacks per second. The fourth-generation Thunder appliances scale and secure the most demanding data centre applications and networks.<\/p>\n

The unrelenting growth of data centre traffic, the Internet of Things (IoT), and increased security requirements from mobile, cloud, and web is creating a continuous demand for higher performance and scalable data centre infrastructure solutions. The new Thunder Series appliances<\/a> are based on A10’s innovative ACOS Harmony platform<\/a>, which delivers industry-leading performance to price. All ACOS-based appliances leverage a data centre efficient design, consuming less power, cooling, and rack space – critically important metrics for organisations.<\/p>\n
