{"id":3816,"date":"2021-01-19T12:30:35","date_gmt":"2021-01-19T12:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/north-america\/?p=3816"},"modified":"2021-01-26T10:38:14","modified_gmt":"2021-01-26T10:38:14","slug":"alabama-community-college-system-improves-student-outcomes-with-blackboard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/north-america\/2021\/01\/19\/alabama-community-college-system-improves-student-outcomes-with-blackboard\/","title":{"rendered":"Alabama Community College System improves student outcomes with Blackboard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Alabama Community College System (ACCS) is adopting Blackboard&#8217;s holistic EdTech ecosystem to provide more than 170,000 students across the state with a rich learning experience.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alabama Community College System (ACCS) is migrating all of its colleges to Blackboard&#8217;s next-generation cloud learning management system (LMS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move includes Blackboard Learn Ultra and Blackboard&#8217;s holistic EdTech ecosystem including analytics, virtual classroom, accessibility, IT help desk, retention coaching and professional development software and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the multi-year system-wide agreement ACCS will migrate colleges from other vendors, giving its 170,000 students at 24 colleges a single LMS experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company&#8217;s EdTech ecosystem includes Blackboard Learn, a responsive and advanced cloud LMS; Blackboard Collaborate, a simple and reliable virtual classroom solution; Blackboard Ally, an accessibility solution; and Blackboard Data, an innovative analytics platform. It also includes Blackboard&#8217;s IT help desk, professional development and retention coaching services, along with other services to support students and faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;At the Alabama Community College System, student success comes first and implementing a system-wide learning management system will help us ensure the student experience is consistent across the state,&#8221; said&nbsp;Jimmy H.
