{"id":46473,"date":"2025-07-10T17:08:49","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T16:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/north-america\/?p=46473"},"modified":"2025-09-01T10:47:02","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T09:47:02","slug":"sabey-data-centers-breaks-ground-on-final-phase-of-ashburn-campus-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentcio.com\/north-america\/2025\/07\/10\/sabey-data-centers-breaks-ground-on-final-phase-of-ashburn-campus-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Sabey Data Centers breaks ground on final phase of Ashburn campus expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sabey Data Centers, a leading data center developer, owner and operator, has announced the start of construction on Building A, the third and final facility on its highly connected Ashburn campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in Loudoun County\u2019s renowned \u2018Data Center Alley\u2019, this expansion will initially deliver 18 megawatts of leasable power capacity, with a further 36 megawatts planned for future delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once complete, it will become the first three-story data center in the Sabey portfolio, offering a total of 54 megawatts of power capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With an expected Ready for Service date in 2026, Ashburn A is engineered to support a variety of cooling configurations, including air-cooled, liquid-cooled or hybrid environments. It is designed to accommodate high-density deployments exceeding 100 kilowatts per rack, reinforcing Sabey\u2019s commitment to delivering scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of enterprise and hyperscale clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStarting construction on Building A marks a significant milestone for Sabey Data Centers as we continue to expand our presence in Northern Virginia,\u201d said Tim Mirick, President of Sabey Data Centers. \u201cThis development will create significant additional capacity and room for our customers to efficiently and sustainably scale.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabey\u2019s Ashburn campus spans 38 acres and, upon full build-out, will provide a total campus capacity of 85 MW.
