The program aims to strengthen the nation&#8217;s semiconductor and quantum industries by providing engineering support and cloud quantum computing access to Canadian academics and small-to-medium sized enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInnovation moves faster when researchers and businesses can work with frontier quantum computing systems,\u201d said Lisa Lambert, Vice President, Global Strategy and Managing Director, Canada, IonQ. \u201cThe FABrIC Quantum Computing Sandbox expands access to IonQ\u2019s commercial technology so more Canadian researchers and businesses can start building quantum expertise and real capability now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is FABrIC&#8217;s mandate in action: pairing a leading commercial quantum computing platform with the expertise to use it, so Canadian innovators can move from access to application,\u201d said Gordon Harling, CEO, CMC Microsystems. \u201cThat&#8217;s the outcome FABrIC was built to deliver.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MoU establishes IonQ as a listed provider for the FABrIC Quantum Computing Sandbox, accelerating quantum research and enterprise adoption.
