World Cloud Show to share insights on India’s budding cloud computing market

Leading cloud player VMware will feature at Trescon’s India edition of the World Cloud Show (WCS) on September 16 as the title sponsor.

The virtual conference will aim to gather over 200 online participants including IT leaders from the most influential think tanks and top companies to share insights on India’s budding cloud computing market. The show will be hosted on the newly launched virtual events platform Vmeets.

Among other top technology leaders joining the global conversation will be, Hardik Doshi, Senior Cloud Sales Specialist, VMware, and Vish Phaneendra, Head of Solution Engineering, South Asia for VMware.

Hardik Doshi will deliver a tech talk on the topic ‘VMware Cloud on AWS: A True Hybrid Cloud Platform’.

He will also be a part of a panel discussion on ‘Building Cloud Strategies for Businesses’ along with other speakers such as: Bharat B Anand, CIO and CTO, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India; Sandip Trivedi, Group General Manager IT, IRCTC Ltd;  Amol Pai, CTO of SBI Bank, and Pamela Kumar, Vice President – Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India.

With 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Hardik is currently working with the VMware Cloud Business Unit, to gain start-up experience with the launch of VMware Cloud on AWS Service in India. He focuses on helping customers transition to hybrid or multi-cloud IT solutions.

The conference will also feature Vish Phaneendra, Head of Solution Engineering, South Asia, VMware in a panel discussion on ‘Multi-Cloud and Cloud Native pave the way for AI’.

He will also be joined by Surya Narayan Singh, Head of Cloud Computing and Data Center for NPCI, and Tushar Vohra, CTO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, among others. A global leader in building, running and managing applications, Vish Phaneendra enables enterprises to achieve greater business agility and innovate at start-ups speed by pairing modern agile methodology with next-generation cloud and AI technologies.

World Cloud Show will also explore India’s cloud computing market by essentially focusing on ramping up remote work in the cloud, cloud security and data protection, and cloud enablement.

The World Cloud Show will feature keynotes, panel discussions, technology use-cases, industry solutions, applied cloud showcases and the latest go-to-market innovations. Set in an interactive online environment, participants can also engage with speakers in Q&A sessions and network with solution providers in virtual exhibition booths, private consultation rooms and private networking rooms.
