Hitachi Vantara has appointed of Kelvin Wong as the new Country Managing Director for its Singapore operations.
Wong will spearhead Hitachi Vantara’s sales strategy in Singapore and oversee a network of partnerships, alliances and resellers.
“Kelvin’s expertise in cultivating strategic partnerships, alliances and reseller networks will also play a pivotal role in propelling growth and fostering collaboration for Hitachi Vantara in Singapore,” said Joe Ong, Vice President and General Manager, Hitachi Vantara, ASEAN.
Wong brings over a decade of experience in sales leadership, with a strong focus on account management for both commercial and enterprise clients.
He was responsible for setting Go-To-Market (GTM) goals and objectives for a district of sales teams, providing strategic guidance and overseeing execution within their respective territories to effectively serve customers.
Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Wong served at the analytics company SAS, where he spearheaded the sales of software-based solutions with a focus on analytics, and managed key accounts in the Singapore market.
Wong is a Software Engineering graduate from the University of Queensland, Australia.
“As Hitachi Vantara continues to expand its footprint in the Singapore market, my goal is to foster growth of the dedicated Singapore team, build a robust sales and pre-sales team, and establish a strong partnership ecosystem alongside our resellers and alliances,” said Wong.
