Howard Fyffe has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer to Australian cybersecurity business CSO Group and xAmplify, Australia’s leading automation systems and AI integrator.
Fyffe joins both organisations following the announcement that they are merging to create the nation’s largest Australian-owned and operated integrator of AI, cybersecurity, technology and business automation services.
Fyffe will be responsible for integrating both organisations’ sales teams as well as defining a unified national sales and go-to-market strategy.
“Both of these businesses are category leaders in terms of the innovation and depth of expertise they deliver to clients. Together, they will be transformative,” said Fyffe.
“The prospect was too good to turn down: to be able to create a wholly Australian-owned AI, Automation and Cyber business, and change the game for enterprise and government organisations across Australia spanning industries such as defence, federal and state government, energy, financial services, health, logistics, retail, construction and mining,” he said.
Fyffe has decades of senior technology leadership experience.
Prior to launching VAST Data in Australia in 2021, he was ANZ Country Manager for Veritas Technologies, Country Manager A/NZ for Nutanix and had a 14-year career in numerous roles for Cisco Systems across Asia Pacific, Australia and the US.
Michael Simkovic, CEO, CSO Group, said: “We are thrilled to have an executive of Howard’s calibre join us on our mission to create Australia’s largest home-grown cyber security, AI and automation consulting business.”
