Indosat and Wadhwani Foundation launch AI-based training to prepare young talent

Strategic collaboration a commitment to expanding access to relevant digital training for Indonesia’s youth.

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) and the Wadhwani Foundation (WF) have together launched AI-based training aimed at preparing young talent for the workforce.

This feature, accessible via IM3’s myIM3 app and Tri’s bima+ app, signifies the ongoing collaboration that began in January and underscores a commitment to expanding access to relevant digital training for Indonesia’s youth.

Indonesia’s 2025 Statistical Data reports that the number of job seekers has reached over 7.4 million, highlighting the significant demand for new job opportunities and skills. In response to this challenge, Indosat, in collaboration with the WF, has launched AI-based digital training to support the younger generation in navigating the job market while also driving national economic growth in line with Indonesia Vision 2045.

In addition to providing telecommunication services, the myIM3 and bima+ apps, available on the Play Store and App Store, now serve as platforms for learning and personal development tailored to industry needs. The training programs are accessible anywhere, from urban to rural areas, offering equal opportunities for young people across the country to enhance their digital skills. Both of Indosat’s brands, IM3 and Tri, will later engage their respective audiences to promote the platform. IM3 will embed it into its flagship program, Collabonation, while Tri will carry it forward through its popular initiative, Generasi Happy.

Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO,Indosat said: “The youth are key to building an inclusive and sustainable future. At IOH we believe that no one should be left behind. With this initiative, we are committed to developing the digital skills of Indonesians, wherever they are. This aligns with Indosat’s larger goal of empowering Indonesia.”

In collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation, Indosat will strengthen partnerships with universities and school students across Indonesia to support students in developing their digital skills and shaping their own paths toward employment.

Ajay Kela, WF President and CEO, said: “The collaboration with Indosat is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to create social change through skills empowerment through Wadhwani Skilling Network (WSN) and entrepreneurship through Wadhwani Entrepreneurship Network (WEN). We believe that digital empowerment must reach the wider community, and technology is key to making that happen. The collaboration with Indosat allows us to reach millions of users directly and provide access to learning easily, quickly and effectively.”
