By migrating operations to AWS, the company has significantly improved scalability, enhanced disaster recovery capabilities and streamlined its online booking platform, ECU360 – which facilitates real-time shipment tracking, instant booking, seamless cargo movement and enhancing customer experience.
The cloud migration initiative was built on four strategic pillars; the first pillar focused on elevating customer experience through modernised digital interfaces and intuitive touchpoints, streamlining processes from shipment tracking to documentation management. The second pillar, infrastructure modernisation, marked a strategic shift from global data centres to AWS infrastructure, delivering the scalability needed for peak operational demands with a robust security and recovery system.
