Lyca Mobile is making a major expansion of its Australia operation – investing heavily in new digital service channels, continued collaboration with retail partnerships and online services across the country.
Lyca’s Australian operation has been operating since 2010, providing millions of customers with reliable and affordable connectivity.
Lyca operates across Vodafone’s advanced 4G and 5G network which now covers around 1,000,000 square kilometers of Australia, reaching 98.4% of the population.
The investment will include focusing on further improving Lyca’s capacity and capability, enhancing the customer experience through innovative digital platforms.
Lyca is at the forefront of adopting technologies such as eSIM, allowing customers to activate and manage their mobile services remotely, switch between networks seamlessly and reduce environmental impact by eliminating the need for physical SIM cards.
Additionally, the company announced its intention to continue partnering with some of Australia’s leading retail providers.
Noman Abbasi, Country Director, Lyca Mobile Group Australia said:“Lyca has a proud fifteen-year heritage in the Australian market. This investment in our eSIM technology and digital service channels will ensure our customers are offered the very best products and services available.
“Our team is committed to the Australian market, both with our physical retail partnerships and increasingly through digital sales channels, delivering first class mobile services to millions of Australians every year.”
