A-FLOW launches ML1: Philippines’ next-gen data center to support digital growth in Southeast Asia

A-FLOW, the joint venture between AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp and FLOW Digital Infrastructure, has launched its first Philippine data centre ML1 – marking a major milestone in the nation’s digital infrastructure.

Located in Laguna, roughly 35km south of Metro Manila, ML1 expands the region’s data centre cluster and supports rising demand for secure, scalable and resilient digital infrastructure amid rapid cloud and AI adoption.

ML1 is the first of a planned three-building greenfield campus totaling 36MW, with Phase 1 delivering 6MW of IT load.

A-FLOW President Sanjay Goel emphasized the partnership’s commitment to national Digital Transformation, citing ML1 as a catalyst for innovation and global competitiveness.

Strategically situated in a low-risk, flood-resilient zone, ML1 is designed for flexibility, offering customisable solutions for colocation, enterprise users and cloud providers.

As a carrier-neutral facility, it delivers robust connectivity through multiple Points-of-Entry, ensuring route diversity and network resilience.

Built to international standards, ML1 provides mission-critical reliability, operational excellence and multi-layer security.

Biñan City Mayor Angelo Alonte hailed the launch as transformative for economic growth, while Laguna leaders affirmed the region’s readiness for major investment.

With Southeast Asia’s data center demand expected to triple by 2030 and the Philippine market projected to grow at a 20.9% CAGR, ML1 is pitched as positioned to meet accelerating needs. Philippines Government leaders have noted that A-FLOW is shaping an ecosystem that elevates the nation as a competitive digital hub.
