AVEVA has announced strategic collaborations with Amazon Web Services and Snowflake to help industrial organisations accelerate cloud adoption, unify IT and OT data environments and scale AI-powered industrial operations.
AVEVA has announced two major strategic collaborations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake aimed at accelerating industrial AI adoption and expanding cloud-based industrial intelligence capabilities for global enterprises.
The industrial software provider said the partnerships will help organisations modernise operations, simplify access to industrial data and unlock AI-driven insights across operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments.
As part of a new multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS, AVEVA will expand its CONNECT industrial intelligence platform on AWS infrastructure as part of its broader multi-cloud strategy.
The agreement includes the use of Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) to deliver both public and private SaaS capabilities for industrial customers worldwide.
The companies said the collaboration is designed to help industrial organisations reduce the complexity and cost of managing on-premises infrastructure while enabling advanced AI-driven operations at scale.
“Industrial companies are sitting on decades of operational data that holds enormous, untapped value,” said Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer, AVEVA.
“As AVEVA advances its multi-cloud strategy, building CONNECT on AWS gives our customers even greater flexibility and scalability, empowering them to turn that data into intelligence that helps them design faster, operate smarter, and optimise continuously.”
Under the agreement, AVEVA will also expand its presence on AWS Marketplace and work jointly with AWS on migration and modernisation programmes supported by OT system integrator partners.
The collaboration will also integrate AWS AI and machine learning services with AVEVA’s industrial data platform to support predictive analytics, digital twin technologies and agentic AI workflows.
“Together, we will help industrial companies around the world accelerate their Digital Transformation, reduce costs, and unlock new insights from their operational data using the breadth and depth of AWS services,” said Uwem Ukpong, Vice President of AWS Industries, Amazon Web Services.
In a separate collaboration announcement, AVEVA revealed plans to integrate CONNECT directly with Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud through a zero-copy architecture designed to eliminate the need for complex data pipelines and duplication.
The companies said the integration will enable industrial enterprises to securely access, analyse and activate operational and enterprise data within a unified environment while maintaining governance and compliance controls.
According to AVEVA, the partnership will help organisations create enterprise-wide data foundations capable of supporting AI agents that can optimise energy usage, predict equipment failures and support real-time operational decision-making.
“By collaborating with AVEVA, we are enabling industrial customers to leverage Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, supporting faster innovation and more scalable analytics,” said Chris Child, VP of Product, Data Engineering, Snowflake.
AVEVA said its CONNECT platform currently manages more than eight petabytes of industrial data across more than 50 SaaS applications and supports over 23,000 monthly active users globally.
