Digital.ai and knowmad mood expand global alliance for secure AI software delivery

Digital.ai has expanded its global partnership with Digital Transformation consultancy knowmad mood as the companies target growing enterprise demand for secure, AI-driven software development.

The agreement extends collaboration across Digital.ai’s Application Lifecycle Management, Agile Planning, DevOps, mobile testing and application security technologies. It will cover services, support and reselling across knowmad mood’s international operations.

Initial go-to-market activity will focus on the DACH region, Southern Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, building on joint customer engagements across financial services, manufacturing and automotive.

The companies said enterprises increasingly need to demonstrate measurable business value from artificial intelligence as adoption moves beyond experimental projects. Digital.ai describes this transition as the ‘Fourth Wave’, where AI becomes an active participant throughout the software delivery lifecycle rather than simply a developer productivity tool.

Digital.ai supports on-premises, private cloud and SaaS deployment models, allowing organisations to introduce AI-powered software delivery while retaining flexibility over infrastructure.

“AI value only shows up when it’s grounded in real delivery pipelines,” said Digital.ai CEO Derek Holt. He said enterprises were moving beyond pilots and looking for partners capable of operationalising AI at scale.

knowmad mood will provide expertise across Agile planning, governance, IT service management, DevOps, security, quality, cloud migration and AI for software engineering.

Rainer Heinold, CEO, knowmad mood Germany, said enterprise AI transformation required changes to culture and operating models alongside technology adoption.

The expanded partnership combines this implementation and change management expertise with Digital.ai’s Agentic AI-based portfolio, aiming to help organisations introduce governed AI across complex software development environments.
