The Dell EMC Enterprise Content Division (ECD), a provider of enterprise content management, has announced the general availability of the latest version of Dell EMC Documentum Platform, the world’s most robust and trusted enterprise content management repository. The latest version, Documentum 7.3, significantly reduces total cost of ownership (TCO) and time associate with upgrades by creating easier delivery and deployment of new applications and enabling a cloud-first strategy, both of which address the demands of existing customers and the broader content management community.

The new release not only meets the goals set for time and TCO savings, but surpasses expectations in two out of three areas: 30-40% infrastructure savings (previously 30-40%); 70-80% database savings (previously 60-70%); and 30-75% upgrade time savings (previously 30-40%).
