The Royal Commission of Yanbu (RCY) has officially opened the 5G and ICT Roadshow, an initiative of Huawei, which will be stationed at the KFCC (King Fahad Civic Center) in RCY in KSA.
Designed to showcase the benefits of 5G networks and ICT, the 5G and ICT Roadshow features demonstrations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and the latest solutions in the fields of intelligent video surveillance, robotics, Augmented Reality, Wi-Fi 6 and more. The roadshow, which is open to the public, aims to provide a better understanding of 5G.
Li Xiangyu, Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications Huawei Middle East, said: “The introduction of 5G to Saudi society will have a strong positive impact, enabling the use of technologies that will shape tomorrow’s world. We thank the RCY for their partnership as host of the latest leg of the 5G and ICT Roadshow. This is an exciting opportunity for members of the public to come and experience what the 5G world will be like.”
Huawei, a leading global provider of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, has been a partner of choice for telecom carriers globally in 5G network development, in part because of its broad range of end-to-end 5G solutions covering network sites, architecture, protocols, network operations and maintenance.
