Oman Trading Establishment leverages cloud solutions

Oman Trading Establishment Group (OTE), one of the largest business houses in Oman with considerable experience in the automotive sector, is working with global technology company SAP SE to move to a private cloud and utilise digital solutions to improve efficiency, support sustainability initiatives and improve services for customers and employee engagement.

The partner for the Digital Transformation is IntelliSoft, an SAP gold partner with a focus on the automotive industry.

Together, OTE, SAP and IntelliSoft have created a digital roadmap with RISE with SAP as the starting point to speed up the move to the cloud. The aim is to go beyond just a technical migration to the cloud and allow OTE to fully transform its business, achieving faster new capability and application roll-out through managed services, and enabling on-going transformation.

Director of OTE, Sheikh Mohammed Bahwan, said: “We have worked very closely with SAP and Intellisoft, leveraging our combined industry experience to ensure our digital transformation will deliver enhanced services to our customers and employees. This first phase of the digital transformation will increase efficiencies and our agility in responding to customer needs and changes in the market.

“Moreover, by streamlining our processes, improving our data mining and analysis capabilities, and gaining superior overall visibility on all aspects of our business, we will be able to ensure that we offer unmatched services.”
