Anomali’s expert on fixing cyber with visibility and intelligence

In a year when attackers are moving faster than most defenders can retool, at the sidelines of GITEX 2025 Alexandre Depret-Bixio, SVP International, Anomali emphasised that visibility and data discipline matter more than ever. He outlines why a unified data layer plus intelligence and automation can shift security from reactive firefighting to measurable resilience – and how Anomali is expanding with partners to meet demand across high-growth regions.

What are the biggest cyber-risks you see over the next 12 months and how is Anomali equipped to deal with them?

We are seeing a clear rise in both the volume and focus of attacks. Techniques evolve weekly and that exposes a second set of risks for defenders – not enough people, limited visibility and data that is too fragmented to analyse at speed. Our response is to restore sight and control. We give full visibility across the tech stack through a unified data management platform so telemetry from different tools and environments lands in one place.

Once the data is consolidated, we enrich it with threat intelligence, correlate it and act. A single, intelligence-ready repository matters because scattered data destroys accuracy and slows response. By integrating and auto-enriching at ingest we help teams move from reactive triage to proactive defence.

How do AI and automation create measurable productivity and better detections from data?

AI cannot help if the signals are siloed. With a single, intelligence-enriched repository, AI and automation reduce manual toil, accelerate investigations and standardise outcomes. Analysts get context in one view instead of jumping between consoles. Automation assembles indicators, links them to behaviours and presents role-specific dashboards so each department gets what it needs without rebuilding the workflow.

The result is faster time to insight, fewer missed signals, eliminate false alarms and consistent detections because the system does the joining and ranking while people focus on decisions.

How should boards and CFOs reframe cyber from cost to business resilience – and which metrics matter most?

A unified data environment with AI support gives finance leaders tangible levers. You see cost optimisation as duplicate tooling and storage are retired, and the remaining stack delivers more value per pound. Service levels improve because teams spend less time on manual correlation and more on outcomes. Metrics that resonate include reduced mean time to detect and respond, higher coverage of assets and logs, and savings from data and tool consolidation. The common thread is proactive decisions with visible reduction in spend and risk – which reframes cyber as resilience, not just cost.

What is Anomali’s expansion playbook in high-growth regions – sector focus, partnerships, localisation? What milestones do you track?

We have always delivered intelligence at scale and that shapes our go-to-market. We reach mid-size companies through channel and managed services partners and serve large enterprises and critical national infrastructure with traditional resellers and specialist partners.

We also work closely with authorities and government entities where collaboration is essential. A partner-first model with clear enablement is core – and we will announce a managed services programme soon to deepen that motion. Milestones are straightforward: partner activation, time to first value for customers, and breadth of environments covered while keeping data and outcomes consistent.

Here at GITEX, what outcomes define success for you?

Success is proving capability, not only presenting it. We are showcasing our latest technology and have announced a significant investment and partnership with AWS for the UAE. This brings the full Anomali capability – our native cloud platform and data lake, enriched by intelligence and AI – closer to customers so adoption is faster for companies, organisations and government entities.

The aim is stronger protection and simpler collaboration across stakeholders. If visitors leave knowing they can unify their data, enrich it automatically and act with confidence, GITEX has done its job for us.
