DXC launches Workplace Services with Agentic AI capabilities

New offering uses DXC OASIS to support workplace IT operations and automate employee support across existing technology environments.

DXC Technology has launched DXC Workplace Services, a new workplace offering designed to improve employee productivity and IT support through Agentic AI and automation.

The service uses DXC OASIS, the company’s orchestration platform, to integrate human expertise with AI agents and automate workflows across customers’ existing workplace technology.

DXC said many organisations continue to operate fragmented tools, disconnected workflows and reactive support models that can create additional complexity for IT teams and employees. Workplace Services is intended to connect these environments while providing more proactive technology support.

The service provides support through employees’ preferred contact channels, including email, chat or voice. AI agents and DXC specialists can guide employees through problems and complete tasks, with the aim of resolving some IT issues before they disrupt work.

“Enterprises should not have to choose between advancing business priorities, improving IT efficiency, and delivering a stronger employee experience. We designed DXC Workplace Services to help organizations achieve these objectives simultaneously by aligning workplace experiences to how employees work, reducing friction both within and across employees’ workplace environment to facilitate a seamless, wholistic experience,” said Kelly Candler, Global Offering Lead, Workplace & Business Process Services, DXC Technology.

DXC Workplace Services is based around three areas: designing services around existing employee workflows, orchestrating customers’ existing platforms, devices and services and combining AI and automation with DXC expertise.

According to DXC, the service can reduce operational complexity by 40% and service desk calls by 60%. The company also claims that 50% of device issues can be resolved before employees notice them and that more than 15 hours of productivity can be returned to each employee every month.

DXC OASIS provides the underlying orchestration capabilities, combining governed AI agents with human expertise to automate operations and co-ordinate workflows. Workplace Services uses these capabilities to manage employee technology across existing customer environments rather than requiring organisations to introduce additional workplace tools.
