As Regional Vice President (RVP) for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, I lead UiPath’s strategic mission to drive agentic automation and Digital Transformation across the Kingdom, directly aligning with Vision 2030.

My role involves spearheading our go-to-market strategy, ensuring our cutting-edge platform empowers Saudi enterprises and government entities to boost efficiency and innovate. I cultivate deep, value-driven partnerships with key clients, helping them achieve measurable business outcomes. Crucially, I focus on strengthening our local partner ecosystem and contributing to local talent development, underscoring UiPath’s dedication to fostering sustainable growth and building a future-ready workforce in Saudi Arabia.

What are your strengths and abilities that you bring to the above role?

To be effective in my role I bring 13 years of experience in the technology sector across covering different sectors and technologies, providing me with practical insights into different business landscape, focused on accelerating growth aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

My strength lies in exceptional business acumen, translating impactful automation and AI solutions into tangible ROI and competitive advantage for enterprises and government entities. I excel at building deep, trust-based relationships with C-level leaders and key partners like Tasnee Engineering, ensuring their success and expanding our ecosystem. Finally, I’m adept at leading high-performing teams, empowering talent and adapting our strategies to the dynamic market, cementing UiPath’s pivotal role in the region’s Digital Transformation.

Please describe the expectations of the end-customers that you address. What are their pain points today?

Our end-customers, primarily large enterprises and government entities, expect rapid and demonstrable ROI when adopting UiPath technology.

They demand solutions that not only automate processes but also drive strategic outcomes like enhanced customer experience, increased agility and competitive differentiation. They anticipate a partner who understands their unique industry challenges and can deliver scalable, secure and future-proof automation that integrates seamlessly.

Their most pressing pain points today include:

• Operational Inefficiencies: Manual, repetitive tasks drain resources, leading to high operational costs and slow processing.

• Data Silos and Lack of Insight: Fragmented data hinders unified views, impacting decision-making and innovation.

• Talent Shortages and Skill Gaps: Difficulty finding skilled professionals for repetitive work, alongside the crucial need to upskill the existing workforce.

• Pressure for Digital Transformation: The immense drive for digital change, often from initiatives like Saudi Vision 2030, creates complexity and demands rapid speed.

• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensuring automation meets strict security and regulatory standards remains a constant concern.

We are confident that agentic automation can help our customers address all of these pain points and exceed expectations. Ultimately, our customers seek a trusted partner to navigate these complexities, reduce friction and unlock their full potential through intelligent automation.

Which generic technologies and innovations can make a difference to your end-customers’ business?

For UiPath customers, AI-powered solutions, robust cloud infrastructure and advanced data intelligence are game-changers.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) transform automation beyond simple tasks. This means intelligent document processing, smarter AI-driven decisions and true hyperautomation. AI lets our software robots learn and adapt to complex scenarios, significantly boosting accuracy and efficiency in key business processes.

Cloud Computing provides the vital, scalable backbone. Its flexibility and global reach enable rapid, secure and cost-effective deployment of UiPath solutions. This leads to faster time-to-value, lower IT costs and stronger business continuity, especially with the hybrid cloud setups common here.

Finally, Advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence are crucial for on-going optimisation. Integrating with tools like UiPath Process Mining gives customers insights to find new automation opportunities, measure programme impact and gain unmatched operational visibility. This data-driven approach helps them maximise automation investments for continuous improvement and strategic edge.

Which non-competitive business in the region do you admire for innovative usage of technology?

I deeply admire when technology enhances people’s lives, and a great example is the Ehsan Platform in Saudi Arabia. This non-profit digital platform, powered by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), innovatively revolutionises charitable giving and social development. Ehsan leverages data and AI to connect donors with diverse philanthropic opportunities across sectors, from education to healthcare. What’s truly impressive is how it provides accessibility, transparency and efficiency to charitable work, ensuring donations reach those in need effectively. By making giving so seamless and impactful, Ehsan embodies how technology fosters a more compassionate society, directly contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Which aspects of your job role do you find rewarding and which challenging?

As an RVP at UiPath, the most rewarding aspect of my job is witnessing our technology genuinely transform businesses and contribute to societal progress, particularly in aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.

Seeing our clients achieve significant efficiencies and innovation through automation, and knowing we’re building local talent, is incredibly fulfilling. Conversely, the primary challenge lies in navigating the rapid pace of technological change and market evolution. Staying ahead of emerging trends, continuously educating the market on the full potential of AI-powered automation, and ensuring our solutions perfectly match evolving client needs requires constant adaptation and strategic foresight. It’s a demanding but exciting environment.

How do you best like to de-stress and recharge off work?

Outside of work, I find my balance through active pursuits and cherished family time. Exercising is my primary way to de-stress, clearing my head and re-energising my body. For true recharge, nothing compares to being with my family. Their presence, laughter and support ground me and prepare me for new challenges.
