SAP has announced the appointment of Esteban Samartin as COO for the South Region of Latin America, comprised of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
In this role, the executive is responsible for executing the company’s strategy and operations in the region, spanning all industries and solutions.
Samartin has more than 25 years of experience in sales, business and team development, strategic alliances and operations.
He joined SAP in 2007 and since then has held various leadership roles in solution areas such as mobility and business analytics and in the telecommunications and services industries. His last position was Vice President of Sales for SAP Argentina.
Esteban is a systems engineer graduated from the National Technological University (UTN) and has taken business courses from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
