Companies will work together to deliver hardware and professional security services to Internet Service Providers.
Blockbit, a global cybersecurity products company, has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Multilaser PRO, Multilaser’s professional line of Internet Service Provider (ISP) products.
Already in force, the agreement is valid for the joint offer of hardware and specialized security solutions throughout Brazil. With the new feature, Multilaser PRO now integrates into its equipment all the tools of Blockbit Platform 2.0, a platform that has features such as software-defined network management (SD-WAN), VPN, Web Filter, SSL Inspection, Intrusion Prevention, Threat Protection and Application Control, ensuring understanding, performance and better security of the digital environment.
Cleber Ribas, CEO, Blockbit, said: “We are very happy to announce this great news for the national scene. The Multilaser PRO line is recognized for offering high technology products, fully meeting the needs of Internet Service Providers. This, of course, is without failing to mention all the strength of the Multilaser brand in the country.”
The objective of the partnership, according to the executive, is to further expand Blockbit’s presence with technology service providers in Brazil, emphasizing the advantages of the solutions. The quality and security of Internet access, which was already extremely important for companies and individuals, have now become completely essential in light of the reality imposed by the pandemic.
“That’s why we believe that bringing our security solutions to more companies is an urgent commitment. Multilaser PRO allows us to create this approach, with a portfolio and support service of the highest efficiency in Brazil,” said Ribas.
For Multilaser PRO, the agreement with Blockbit is an opportunity to complement the offer, further raising the level of service to the needs of ISPs.
Rafael Cortes, Product Director, Multilaser PRO, said: “With no doubt, cybersecurity is an urgent demand for those who work with technology, especially related to the Internet. Blockbit meets this demand and reinforces our delivery, integrating our potentials.”
ISPs represent the largest share of the national Internet market, according to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) and the Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Providers (Abrint), and are responsible for the large increase in fixed broadband in the country, mainly by bringing technology to the major centers.
In addition to this challenge, Blockbit and Multilaser PRO, together, promise to help accelerate the growth of this market, at the corporate level, by offering their solutions as Value Added Services (VAS). With products such as wireless routers, optical termination boxes, fiber optic cables and switches, Multilaser PRO was born in 2017, seeking to optimize Internet access for all audiences. Today, the brand has a sales and service team present throughout Brazil, being recognized for providing specific training and qualifications for customers. In addition, it has its own logistical process for faster deliveries, with ample stock and differentiated payment conditions.Click below to share this article
