Wise Database Solutions, a provider of services and technology for data governance, has released new capabilities for wSecurity, a database firewall solution designed to increase the security of database systems.
This allows for the management of all data connections software applications and information systems, enhancing the protection of critical business and personal data regulated by leading industry standards, including Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
The solution provides total control of all access to the databases of business management systems, such as ERPs and CRMs, through access control rules (ACL) that can be created based on attributes like user, IP address and software, as well as control by date and time. Having reports of access records (logon) and the occurrence of many blocks (access attempts) facilitates intelligence, decision making and auditing.
According to Fernando Vilarim, Director of Wise Database Solutions, the solution was designed to meet growing demand from the consulting clients of the company, who want control and details about all user movements and access to databases, especially after the regulation of new rules for the protection and processing of personal data.
