Danone Argentina has chosen the next-generation management tool SAP S/4HANA to leverage the growth of its La Serenísima dairy and logistics business with the main objective of optimizing production processes and improving customer service.
“SAP S/4HANA meets our needs, which range from the ability to run in the cloud to the presence of an integration model with real-time APIs. In addition, it offered us the best cost-benefit equation and the greatest coverage,” said Gonzalo Velazco, General Manager of Logística La Serenísima, an operation that aims to be a leader in commercialization and cold distribution in Argentina in a sustainable manner.
The solution will cover different aspects of the production process, including greater traceability, more accurate cost measurement, standardization and incorporation of best practices to gain efficiencies.
“Among the benefits that we hope to achieve are greater flexibility to serve our customers thanks to quality connectivity and in real time with each one of them, in addition to being a more digital, efficient and productive company,” said Velazco.
The software is expected to go live in November of this year.
A world leader in food, Danone has been present in Argentina for more than 25 years and participates through its four business units: dairy and plant-based products, La Serenísima logistics, specialized nutrition and water.Click below to share this article
