Embratel has launched the Embratel Smart Monitoring solution, aimed at enabling intelligent real-time monitoring to prevent the loss of food, vaccines, goods and supplies. The platform monitors with Data Intelligence the temperature, humidity and location conditions of cargo, such as sensitive products, during transportation or in storage locations.
It utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) sensors for management and to track vehicle and truck flows or logistics centers, which can enhance performance through remote information measurement. By configuring ideal parameters, the system identifies and sends automatic alerts when metrics deviate from the desired standard, thereby preventing losses. The system operates automatically and continuously, eliminating the need for human monitoring of variables.
Mário Rachid, Executive Director of Digital Solutions, Embratel, said: “Currently, a significant part of the distribution and inventory chain still relies on manual temperature and humidity records, which makes the entire process more vulnerable to errors and slow in responding to potential abnormalities.”
The executive emphasizes that with the adoption of Smart Monitoring, this monitoring is now done remotely through an intelligent system.
Rachid said: “The solution can indicate when a manual repair is necessary in more critical cases. With Smart Monitoring, we provide innovation and digitization to cargo monitoring, supporting quick and preventive measures in the event of altered metrics, thus avoiding losses.”
