Ascenty leads in ISG Provider Lens Colocation Quadrant in Brazil for fourth year in a row

Ascenty has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year as the leader in the Colocation Services Quadrant in Brazil according to the ISG Provider Lens 2023 – Private/Hybrid Cloud – Data Center Services report.

With 34 data centers either in operation or under construction including 26 in Brazil, Ascenty continues to drive customer growth with a robust low-latency network and comprehensive integration with public clouds noted analyst Pedro Bicudo.

The study evaluated 15 providers of data center space based on various factors including secure access control, redundant power supplies, fire suppression, air cooling systems, cloud connectivity and security certificates.

Marcos Siqueira, VP of Operations at Ascenty, said: “Ascenty was once again recognized for its leadership in the Brazilian Colocation Market due to the efforts of our entire team. It demonstrates our commitment to offering a customizable, flexible and agile service.”

The report also indicated that Brazilian companies are increasingly adopting hybrid architectures: managed hosting platforms in conjunction with public clouds.

Siqueira added: “Companies are seeking platforms that offer a cloud-like experience, robust technology and hyperconnectivity. At Ascenty, we connect both these worlds to ensure greater data security, operational flexibility and scalability for companies.”

Hyperconnectivity offerings

Ascenty offers a range of connectivity options through its Cloud Connect for hyperscalers along with multiple points of presence (PoPs) throughout Brazil. The company’s Ascenty Cloud Connectivity Exchange (ACCX) and Ascenty Internet Connectivity Exchange (AICX) services enable connections to a variety of data centers including public clouds and content providers thereby providing low latency at the Edge Computing.

With over 200 certifications, Ascenty maintains a competitive edge by offering a 5,000 km proprietary fiber optic network. This allows clients to choose different routes tailored to their specific needs.

High-quality standards

One of Ascenty’s key differentiators is its commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction. For the fifth year running the company achieved a Net Promoter Score above 90 adhering to rigorous standards for data center security and construction.

Extended ecosystem

Ascenty also operates a marketplace that facilitates integration between customers and various technology manufacturers and service providers. Categories within this marketplace include Private Cloud and Hosting, storage, email, backup, cybersecurity, financial solutions, outsourcing, consulting, telecommunications and connectivity.
