Cirion deploys new multicloud environments in Mexico and Chile

Cirion Technologies, a leading digital infrastructure and technology provider, has announced new multicloud connections in Querétaro, Mexico, and Santiago, Chile. These are two key markets in Latin America experiencing growing demand for cloud services.

The initiative aims to provide regional companies with faster, more reliable access to cloud benefits, while ensuring secure and efficient connections. These two new multicloud environments, incorporating AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Oracle, join the existing setup in São Paulo and other connections in Rio de Janeiro to Microsoft, Buenos Aires to AWS, and Santiago to Oracle.

Alejandro Girardotti, Senior Director of Product, Innovation, and Strategic Alliances at Cirion Technologies, said: “Multicloud environments give companies the ability to use different providers without having to rely on a single one, optimise costs by selecting specific services from each provider, and become more resilient by distributing workloads across multiple clouds. With the deployment of new multicloud environments, Cirion is positioned as the ideal strategic partner for companies that want to maximise the potential of the cloud securely and efficiently.”

Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) are notably increasing their presence in Latin America. They aim to expand infrastructure, offer local services, establish strategic partnerships, and provide technical support and training to drive cloud adoption in the region.

Girardotti added: “It is part of Cirion’s strategy, and we find it critical, to continue establishing connections with every CSP in most of the countries where we are present, especially in those where our data centres are predominant.”
