InfinitePay, a payment platform from Brazilian fintech CloudWalk, has empowered its Brazilian customers to accept contactless payments effortlessly and securely through Tap to Pay on iPhone.
This service accepts a wide range of contactless payment methods including debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets. To complete a transaction, merchants only need an iPhone and the InfinitePay iOS app, eliminating the requirement for additional hardware or payment terminals.
During checkout, the merchant prompts the customer to bring their iPhone or Apple Watch near the merchant’s iPhone for secure payment via NFC technology. The feature also accommodates PIN entry and accessibility options.
Apple’s Tap to Pay technology employs the inherent capabilities of the iPhone to keep both businesses’ and customers’ data private and secure. Notably, no card numbers are stored either on the device or Apple servers after a payment transaction.

Tap to Pay on iPhone offers an easily manageable payment solution for InfinitePay users. Merchants can activate the service by downloading the InfinitePay app on an iPhone XS or a later model with the latest iOS version.
