LataMed AI has announced an academic collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), expanding its engagement with future healthcare professionals through a series of educational sessions focused on digital healthcare and artificial intelligence.
The initiative is being delivered through the company’s Venezuelan affiliate, LataMed AI VE, following an invitation from the university to participate in programmes covering HealthTech innovation and emerging healthcare technologies.
The sessions will introduce students and faculty members to telehealth infrastructure, healthcare analytics, care coordination systems, emergency response technologies and artificial intelligence applications designed to support healthcare delivery. LataMed AI said the programme aims to provide practical exposure to technology-driven healthcare concepts that are becoming increasingly important as healthcare organisations seek greater efficiency, accessibility and improved patient outcomes.
According to the company, the collaboration reflects its commitment to supporting healthcare innovation while encouraging dialogue between technology developers and academic institutions. LataMed AI believes partnerships with universities can help strengthen understanding of digital healthcare, provider coordination, telehealth accessibility and data-driven healthcare operations across Latin America.
The educational programme will also provide opportunities to engage with future physicians, researchers, educators and healthcare leaders while discussing advances in digital health infrastructure and emerging technologies.
