Diebold Nixdorf, a leading company in driving and connecting commerce for the banking and retail industries, has announced new additions to its range of self-checkout and ePOS solutions for automating sales and customer service processes in retail.

The company’s new self-service and checkout equipment in Brazil feature high-precision touch screens, dedicated hardware to ensure high performance during transactions and easy integration with peripherals besides a wide range of applications for managing activities, billing processes, inventory control and support, among others.

Marcelo Sturn, Retail Leader, Diebold Nixdorf Brazil, said: “The new solutions focus on customer demands for more autonomy and retailer needs for safer and more agile environments. We are bringing innovations to truly simplify customer service, scalability of operations and the very way these machines can be arranged in establishments, allowing the point of sale to strategic points within stores.”

With functionalities developed locally by the company’s research and development team in the country, innovations are entering the market to streamline and optimize the routines of Brazilian retailers, providing a differentiated experience for employees and customers.

“The pandemic has accelerated a series of changes, and one that Brazilian consumers have certainly been seeking is self-service,” said Sturn.
