With the deployment of Wi-Fi 6e, reliable connectivity at Fairmont Dubai, Fairmont Ajman and Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort will allow guests to continue to enjoy their increasingly digital lifestyles, while benefiting from a seamless and interconnected technology experience.

The UAE is the first country in the Middle East and Africa and the fifth in the world to open the 6 GHz radio spectrum for local wireless networks, opening new opportunities for the ICT sector. The opening of the 6 GHz frequency band in the UAE has laid the foundation for the latest Wi-Fi 6e standard, doubling the available system capacity pivot compared to the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. These traditional bands previously faced congestion while avoiding interference from non-Wi-Fi devices such as cordless phones and wireless speakers.
