American Municipal Power (AMP) has named Jared Price as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Price, who has served as Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer since 2015, joined AMP in 2011 as IT Director.
In his tenure at AMP, he has taken on increasing responsibility in the areas of Information Technology and Operations Technology Strategy.
As CIO, Price will provide oversight for all Information Technology functions, including all data centers and technical service centers and all computer systems operations across the organization.
Before joining AMP, Price worked at OhioHealth Group, where he was Manager of Information Systems and United Midwest Savings Bank, where he was Director of Information Technology. He also has held other IT positions at Matrix Psychological Services and Nationwide Financial.
Price has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Systems Management, from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
