Adventist Health appoints Chief Digital Officer

Adventist Health, a faith-inspired integrated healthcare system with more than 400 sites of care in California, Oregon and Hawaii, has appointed Jennifer Stemmler as Chief Digital Officer.

She will be responsible for building and delivering the company’s digital forward, consumer-centric transformation across the full care continuum.

Stemmler will also lead information technology services, strategy and delivery for the enterprise, including accelerating innovation for Adventist Heath.

Stemmler most recently served as the Consumer Digital Strategy Executive and implemented many of Adventist Health’s first consumer digital solutions working with key partners.

Other roles have included leading several key strategic areas as part of Adventist Health’s IT executive team

Stemmler also led multidisciplinary teams to transition over 280+ ambulatory clinics from various systems and paper processes to Cerner Ambulatory, in close partnership with several key players.

Stemmler will work closely with Brett Spenst, Senior Finance and Chief Information Officer and Jason Wells, Chief Strategy Officer to accelerate the company’s digital and technology strategy and innovation.
