Huntingdon College expands managed IT partnership with Boldyn Networks

Huntingdon College has expanded its partnership with Boldyn Networks to provide managed network and IT services across its academic and administrative facilities.

Huntingdon College has expanded its partnership with Boldyn Networks to deploy managed network and IT services across its academic and administrative buildings.

The agreement builds on Boldyn’s residential network (ResNet) deployment at the college last year and extends managed services beyond student accommodation to support teaching, administration and campus operations.

Under the agreement, Boldyn will provide managed network services covering core infrastructure, network access control, firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), secure Wi-Fi, network segmentation, 24/7 monitoring and access to its Managed Campus Portal for network management and support.

According to the organisations, the expanded deployment is intended to strengthen network reliability while reducing the operational workload on Huntingdon College’s internal IT team, allowing staff to focus on technology projects and strategic initiatives.

Matt Loecke, Senior Vice President, Higher Education, Boldyn Networks US, said: “Higher education institutions depend on reliable technology services across student accommodation, classrooms, staff offices and administrative buildings. Huntingdon College’s decision to expand its partnership with Boldyn reflects the trust built through our ResNet deployment and the importance of having a partner that understands the operational realities of campus IT.”

Anneliese Spaeth, Chief Information Officer, Huntingdon College, said: “Our extended IT partnership with Boldyn Networks will strengthen today’s campus operations by bringing stability and reliability to network connectivity through technology modernisation. This partnership positions Huntingdon competitively in the higher education space with regard to connective technologies and infrastructure.”
