Macquarie Technology Group recognised in top 60 companies worldwide for workplace culture

Australia’s Macquarie Technology Group (has received the 2024 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA), recognising the company for having one of the most engaged workplace cultures in the world.

GEWA winners are decided based on Gallup’s analysis of team engagement and performance. The 2024 Awards was the most comprehensive study of its kind, spanning more than two million employees in 276 organisations across 54 industries and 96 countries.

On average, GEWA winners’ ratio of engaged versus actively disengaged employees are 11 times higher than the global average.

Macquarie was recognised for its strengths-focused development and career pathways, one of the lowest gender pay gaps in the industry, approach to

AI skills development, wellbeing and assistance programs, awarding employees who embody the company’s purpose and more.

The Award follows a string of Australian and global awards recognising Macquarie Technology Group and its founders.

These include Best Customer Experience (CX) of the Year and CEO of the Year at the World Communication Awards; the Pearcey Medal for contribution to Australia’s ICT industry; the Australian Financial Review Best Places to Work List; and a Great Place to Work Australia certification.
