Avanza Solutions showcased its newly launched line up of fintech products at the Dot Finance Africa expo held in Kigali, Rwanda. Dot Finance Africa is one of Africa’s largest and most prestigious events for the Fintech industry. The event attracts professionals and experts from all fields, ranging from financial institutions, technology providers, start-ups, and regulators, and provides the opportunity for them to share ideas and their vision for the industry.
The two-day event, started off with most of the notable banks and fintech players showcasing their ideas and solutions for the future of industry in Africa. Avanza Solutions, showcased newly launched products exhibiting artificial intelligence and cognitive engines Impulse Cognitive Platform, a blockchain platform Cipher, and a suite of omnichannel banking products. Avanza’s blockchain platform, Cipher, has been selected for a pilot programme with the Dubai Government for the implementation of a city-wide blockchain payments platform.
Managing Director and CMO Avanza Solutions, Waqas Mirza also shared his views on artificial intelligence bots and cognitive platforms in a panel discussion during the event.
He said, “Organisations today rely a lot on their first interactions with customers, these interactions create the solid service foundation for that organisation, any inconsistencies in these interactions will determine how your customers feel about your brand service. AI bots and cognitive platforms are the tools that can make these interactions delightful. A bot can quickly provide information, help, and detect dissonance to create a more enriched experience for the customer.”
