Ultimateaddons revolutionising the road for bikers

Bikers can now stay connected to the road, their friends and their favourite music at all times – in all weather conditions – thanks to a UK company’s revolutionary range of mountable charging devices.

Ultimateaddons, based in the Scottish Highlands, is changing gear at the perfect time to offer its waterproof cases for the latest iPhones and smartphones, including the new iPhone X – representing the perfect gift for Father’s Day.

Ultimateaddons’ sleek, premium mobile cases allow bikers to run satellite navigation, Bluetooth intercom and audio apps such as Spotify, whilst charging the device at the same time.

With 15 different attachments to fit almost every bike on the market, a hardwire cable connects to the battery with a Bluetooth earpiece, all that is then needed to revolutionise the road for all two-wheel enthusiasts.

The company – which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary – believes that its products are unique in the industry because each case complies to one of the highest waterproof ratings possible – IPX5 – and can still be charged, a feat which no other waterproof mobile case can boast.

In addition, the range of fitments ensure that every bike model is catered for, instead of the ‘one size fits all’ products which are not always entirely suited for different manufacturers.

Ultimateaddons was created in 2008 by Craig Derbyshire, who has a passion for unique mobile electronic device accessories and is a keen biking enthusiast himself. He prides his range as being contemporary and premium with a look and feel befitting the most discerning of enthusiasts.

Steven Gourlay, R&D Director at Ultimateaddons, another avid biker, said that each accessory is designed in Scotland, with the iPhone X case the latest off the production line and many more cases in development to keep up with the rapidly-evolving mobile phone market.

He said: “In the past, people would opt for a generic satnav rider system which could cost in the region of £500. By nature, these devices only serve that one purpose as a satnav, rather than multiple functions at once, so we never thought that this was an ideal solution.

“My argument is that you always take your mobile phone with you regardless. Why not connect it to your earpiece so your satnav talks to you and you can make calls and listen to music in between? Moreover, our cases mean that the phone is charging at the same time.

“Ultimateaddons offer so much more than conventional alternatives and with our iPhone X case arriving on the market shortly, we think it is the perfect time to think about us.”
