Vertiv hosts first ever end user event in Rwanda, in collaboration with PCTL Automation

Vertiv hosted an end user event in Rwanda in collaboration with PCTL Automation, a provider of industrial automation and process control solutions in East Africa. The event was attended by several key decision-makers from various industries in Rwanda, including telecom tower companies and mobile network operators, with the aim of discussing and addressing their critical infrastructure challenges.

Vertiv has been increasing its market presence in Rwanda and throughout East Africa. With the recent opening of its office in Nairobi, Kenya, and its expanding distributor and partner network in Rwanda, Vertiv has been able to closely support local customers in their critical infrastructure projects. Vertiv has been providing end-to-end solutions for telecom tower companies and mobile network operators in Rwanda, including power, thermal, racks, and prefabricated modular solutions, such as the Vertiv SmartAisle 2.

At the event, Vertiv led presentations on some of its landmark projects in Rwanda, including data centres for the banking segment outfitted with the Vertiv SmartAisle 2, a fully integrated infrastructure solution equipped with precision cooling, uninterruptible power supply, UPS system, power management, monitoring and control technologies, and fire suppression. Vertiv also highlighted its commitment to energy and water efficiency, discussing how its solutions can help companies consume less energy and reduce their carbon footprint.
