Liquid C2 partners with Google Cloud to expand cloud opportunities in Kenya

Liquid C2, a business of Cassava Technologies, has announced a strategic partnership between its Cloudmania business and Google Cloud in Kenya. The partnership provides local resellers, managed service providers (MSPs) and systems integrators with direct access to Google Cloud solutions, training, skills development opportunities and new routes to market.

For Kenyan businesses, the partnership offers a broader range of cloud services and greater access to local expertise, helping them accelerate technology adoption and align cloud investments with their business requirements. It also provides greater flexibility in managing cloud costs by enabling organisations to select consumption models that best suit their needs.

Kenya’s ongoing digital transformation is driving demand for local cloud expertise, while small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are increasingly considering multi-cloud strategies to improve resilience, flexibility and cost efficiency.

“Kenyan businesses want to adopt cloud with partners they know and trust. Google Cloud brings new opportunities for our channel ecosystem in Kenya, while strengthening Cloudmania’s ability to support those partners as their customers’ technology needs evolve,” said Neeraj Pradhan, VP and CEO, Liquid Intelligent Technologies Kenya.

“Technology partners are central to helping businesses make the most of cloud and AI. By adding Google Cloud to our portfolio in Kenya, we are giving partners more choice, while supporting them with the skills and capabilities they need to create value for their customers. This reaffirms our commitment to empowering businesses across Africa,” added Vinay Hiralall, Chief Commercial Officer, Liquid C2.

The partnership creates opportunities for technology companies to develop recurring revenue streams through cloud consumption while integrating Google Cloud solutions into their existing customer strategies.

Cloudmania’s marketplace also enables users to access and self-provision solutions, simplifying the process of selecting, deploying and delivering cloud services to customers.

The addition of Google Cloud strengthens Liquid C2’s multi-cloud ecosystem and supports its regional growth strategy, which focuses on scaling cloud, AI and cybersecurity infrastructure across Africa through partnerships with global cloud providers.

This strategy is further supported by the wider Cassava Technologies ecosystem, which provides access to a continent-wide fibre network and data centre footprint, alongside local distribution capabilities for AI solutions.
