DXC Technology has announced a new partnership with cybersecurity firm 7AI to launch a fully AI-powered Security Operations Centre (SOC), in what both companies describe as a significant shift in how managed security services are delivered.
The service, branded as the DXC Agentic SOC, integrates 7AI’s autonomous AI agents into DXC’s global security operations workflow, covering everything from alert ingestion to investigation and remediation. The companies say this move is intended to improve speed, reduce operational costs, and enhance the accuracy of threat detection and response.
With growing volumes of cyber threats and increasing complexity, the use of artificial intelligence in security operations is becoming more prominent. According to 7AI, its platform saved security teams more than 224,000 analyst hours in 2025 alone – the equivalent of 112 full-time analyst years – resulting in a reported $11.2 million in reclaimed productivity.
Chris Drumgoole, President of Global Infrastructure Services at DXC, said the partnership reflects a broader evolution in the security sector. “The future of security operations isn’t about adding more tools. It’s about building intelligent systems that deliver measurable improvements,” he said. “This collaboration allows us to accelerate detection and response capabilities while relieving pressure on human analysts.”
The new offering is aimed at enterprise customers worldwide. DXC said its use of 7AI’s agentic model can shorten investigations by up to two and a half hours and significantly reduce the number of false positives — a common issue that often consumes analysts’ time unnecessarily.
For its part, 7AI brings to the table its proprietary ‘Dynamic Reasoning’ engine, which allows AI agents to determine investigative approaches in real time, including for previously unseen threats, without relying on pre-written scripts or static rules.
Lior Div, CEO and Co-founder of 7AI, said the collaboration with DXC offers a real-world testbed for its technology. “DXC’s global scale, with 25 delivery centres processing millions of daily alerts, provides the operational depth needed to strengthen and evolve our AI agents. This partnership enables security teams to focus on outcomes, rather than processes,” he said.
The new service will be delivered with DXC’s existing capabilities in breach response, compliance, and governance, alongside anonymised threat intelligence sharing to improve AI training without compromising client confidentiality.
