Unbelievable Machine opens AWS competence centre in Frankfurt

The Unbelievable Machine Company (‘*um’), German innovator in digital infrastructure, has opened a third competence centre in Frankfurt/Main. The centre is a base from which the technology specialist can operate Amazon Web Services (AWS) and develop customised client solutions for the use and application of hybrid cloud solutions.

*um’s new AWS competence centre is located in the heart of the Main metropolis, close to the central station (Am Hauptbahnhof 10). Behind the historic facade of the once almost legendary ‘Hotel d’Angleterre’ (‘Englischer Hof’) now lies a modern infrastructure for the technology provider’s services.

“Opening our own powerful AWS competence centre in Frankfurt was an obvious and sensible step to take. We work for a large and important client there and have already attracted new clients in the area, all of which have huge demand for consultation and operation capacities,” explained *um’s Founder and CEO, Ravin Mehta. “We will meet their requirements in more than one way: Since we are an AWS competence partner and have already been operating one of our data centres in Frankfurt for a long time, we are able to offer unique hybrid solutions from private cloud and public cloud services.”

The Frankfurt centre has been operating with 10 permanent employees since the beginning of May and *um is expecting growth in the near future; the company is already looking for new staff, including data engineers, data and AWS architects, as well as DevOps experts.
